The new C8 Corvette is a game changer for GM and the Corvette brand. Ted Trevor's novel idea of building a mid-engine Covair has come to fruition with the 2020 Corvette. The concept was there, but the execution left something to be desired. But GM has finally adopted the next step in the Corvette story. A mid engine Corvette is what Zora dreamed about and the aftermarket produced in the form of a Crown Corvair V8 mid-engine conversion.  I believe most Corvair and Corv-8 enthusiasts would agree this was a logical step in the evolution of GM's halo car.
